The USA and China engage in a trade war affecting the economic field once again due to Trump’s tariffs on all Chinese goods by allegedly accusing them for the fentanyl trafficking that has been affecting our country for the past years. The battle started on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 when president Donald J. Trump applied tariffs on Chinese goods forcing the Chinese to retaliate and apply 10-15% on tariffs for US farm products. Altercation between the app X (formerly known as Twitter) revealed shocking quotes such as this message sent on X: “If war is what the US wants, be it a tariff war, a trade war or any type of war, we will fight till the end,” said China’s Embassy. Revealing they are prepared for ‘any’ type of war with the USA.
